1). Agriculture expert for soil & water conservation

Reviving Roots: Integrated Soil and Water Conservation for Climate Resilient Livelihoods project in Sonbhadra, has started from February 2026 onwards for 3 years with support of TATA Trust. The project focused on increased livelihood through water shed based climate resilient agriculture practices. Trained farmers groups will adopt climate resilient practices and ensure increased income.

Qualification :

  • Motivated individuals with Engineering in Agriculture or Civil with preferable experience of more than 2 years in watershed projects.
  • Experience of more than 2 years working in rural community development Projects.
  • Command in Reporting in Hindi & English languages & computer proficiency.
  • Interest & Communication skills to mobilize farmers adopting climate resilient agriculture practices.
  • Ready to reside in rural area minimum one week per month in field with basic facilities.
  • Able to ride bike for long distance in interior of village.
  • Ready to learn from community knowledge about rural challenges and different opportunities under different Programme and government scheme understand Gandhian approach towards life constructive programme.

Remuneration will be between Rs. 35,000.00-40,000 excluding travel.

2) Livelihood Coordinator 

We are looking for motivated individuals with master’s degree in rural management/marketing/agriculture who has experience with Farmer producer cooperative, company or organisation.

The job requires:

  • To manage existing Farmer producer companies and work on creating markets for existing agricultural products in Banwasi Seva Ashram.
  • Organize meetings with farmers organization to create business plan and implement it.
  • Look for new products to manufacture and process, and find its market at physical and digital platform.
  • Do required documentation and training required with farmers.
  • Work collectively with all stakeholders.
  • English and Computer Skills, to be able to make report and present.

Remuneration is between 35000 to 40000 rupees excluding travel.
